Welcome back to planDisney! It looks like you and your crew loved the Disney Treasure so much that you’re back for another ride on the Magic Carpet, this time with a spooky spin for Halloween on the High Seas! A September sailing on the Treasure already sounds like a great combination, but adding Mickey’s Halloween magic to the itinerary makes it even more fun.
I know my
planDisney pal Catherine helped you out with those fun theme night schedules for your sailing earlier this year, and this sailing is going to look very similar, but with an extra ghoulish night of fun! Since Halloween on the High Seas brings some special entertainment and activities to the ship, I completely understand wanting to know which nights you’ll want to have those costumes and dress clothes ready.
Before we break out the cauldron, though, be sure to double-check your spellbook, also known as the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, once you’re onboard. That is where you’ll find the final schedule for entertainment and activities, and schedules can change. With that little bit of pixie-dusted fine print out of the way, here is your current theme night lineup:
• Day 1 – Port Canaveral: Cruise Casual
• Day 2 – At Sea: Formal Night
• Day 3 – At Sea: Mickey’s Mouse-querade & Trick-or-Treating
• Day 4 – Tortola: Pirate Night
• Day 5 – St. Thomas: Cruise Casual
• Day 6 – At Sea: Semi-Formal Night
• Day 7 – Castaway Cay: Cruise Casual
My crew and I love the
Halloween on the High Seas sailings, and we like to bring a little extra fun to our stateroom door. We’ve brought along some magnetic hooks and battery-powered pumpkin or bat lights to hang around the frame of our stateroom door. It makes our stateroom much easier to spot in the hallway, and my kids especially love getting involved with decorating the door.
If that sounds like something you and your crew would enjoy, just remember to
keep the decorating to the door itself. There has been some pretty creative stateroom décor over the years, but expanding the decorations onto the surrounding walls or ceiling isn't allowed. Magnetic decorations are a great way to give your door some Halloween personality without turning the hallway into your own haunted attraction.
