Hi there, Theresa!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wahoo for cruising as a
Platinum Castaway Member! My family reached Platinum status on a back to back last summer and it was very exciting! You clearly know and love all the wonderful things Disney Cruise Line has to offer!
As a Platinum Cruiser, you can begin booking activities 120 days prior to your sailing which is a fantastic benefit if you have certain Port Adventures you don’t want to miss. When your online booking window opens you can reserve dinner or brunch at Palo and as a Platinum member your dining experience will be complimentary. Please note that this only applies to your food surcharge and does
not include wine or alcohol ordered during your meal. At the end of your meal your
Palo server will ask for your Key To The World card and will run any additional charges and you can include additional gratuity for service. It is at your discretion and I would recommend tipping based on service, but also taking in mind the price had it not been complimentary. Current pricing is $30 per person for dinner or brunch at Palo.
With the new
enhancements that are being made to the Disney Magic this Spring, you are sure to enjoy your trip! I am eager to see the new Rapunzel’s Royal Table restaurant and cannot wait to see the entertainment that will be included with that dinner service! I am sure it will be fantastic! And, as you already know, don’t leave the ship without booking your next Disney Cruise Line adventure!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
