    Hi moms! My family will be sailing the Disney Fantasy soon & which excursions on the islands of St. Maarten/St. Thomas & Tortola do you recommend? Can we walk around & shop at Tortola? I know we can at St. Thomas. Thank you!

    You have me FANTASizing about a fabulous journey with Disney Cruise Line! It was only a couple of months ago that I was enjoying myself on the Fantasy and planning epic adventures. Every family is different, but I can definitely tell you what we have enjoyed on our Eastern Caribbean trips. Our cruise a couple of months ago did not visit St. Maarten, but on a previous cruise we loved visiting Orient Beach through a Disney Port Adventure. Check your itinerary to see if the Fantasy will be visiting this amazing island during your cruise. At St. Thomas, like your family, we walked off the ship and visited the many shops selling perfumes, clothing, shoes and of course jewelry. While visiting Tortola we did the Island Drive and Beach Break. It starts off with a tour of Road Town and then goes to the highest point on the Island where we saw breathtaking beauty, and of course with the Fantasy in the background, it was postcard perfect! After the tour, we spent 2 hours relaxing on a pristine white sandy beach. If you prefer to walk around and shop, then yes, that is available in Tortola since you will be docked right into the heart of Road Town.
