    My family is sailing on the Disney Dream this summer. We would really like to get a cabana reservation for Castaway Cay. I know they are difficult to obtain. Do you have any tips on what we can do to secure a reservation?

    Thanks for stopping by with your question about Castaway Cay - my favorite stop on a Disney Cruise! Disney Cruise Line's private island is a little slice of heaven - a beautiful beach with lots of fun activities, great food and all the incredible Disney customer service you've come to expect.

    The cabanas on Castaway Cay are certainly a tough reservation to secure, and book extremely quickly. Concierge guests and certain Castaway Club members are able to book up to 120 days in advance, and are some of the first to reserve these private getaways.

    If you aren't one of the lucky ones to secure a cabana reservation before your cruise, I encourage you to keep checking back. Reservations can be cancelled up to three days before your sail date. You never know - one might become available! You could also stop by the Port Adventures desk onboard and ask about availability.

    No worries if you're not able to reserve a cabana - there are beautiful areas all around the island to enjoy your day in paradise! My favorite spot is right above the snorkeling lagoon - plenty of comfortable hammocks for a quick nap with an ocean breeze. Ahhh - relaxation at it's best!

    Here's hoping your wish comes true, the pixie dust falls into place, and you're able to get a cabana reservation this summer! I hope you have a magical voyage on the gorgeous Disney Dream!
