Hi there, Christin!
Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to “sea” that you will be going on a Spooktacular
Halloween on the High Seas voyage! What an adventure you will have, and you will make some wonderful, long-lasting memories throughout it all!
One thing about a Disney Cruise Line vacation is that there really is something for everyone – no matter their age, gender or ability, there is something for EVERYONE to enjoy and the Cast Members go above and beyond to ensure that EVERYONE does in fact enjoy their voyage! Your mother will be accommodated for all the onboard entertainment and activities with areas reserved for Guests with limited mobility and those that need assistance. If ever unsure as to the best place to go with her, just ask a Cast Member and they will be more than happy to assist – if they haven’t already made the first move to direct you where to head. Additionally, take note that for the
main dining restaurants that have stepped entrances, there will always be a separate entrance for those in wheelchairs to enter, as well as the other Guests with them.
Since you will be traveling with a group, make sure that everyone has the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to their smartphones prior to getting onboard. The chat feature on it is so useful when trying to keep up with one another’s whereabouts! And you won’t need an internet package to use, just connect to the DCL-GUEST network once online and you’ll have access to all the features of the app, including a full schedule of activities and entertainment, deck plan maps, menus and more!
Wishing you the BEST vacation ever with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
