    Family is running Jingle Jungle 5K and kids will also be running the mile. Will there be bus transportation from AK to ESPN sports complex? Will not have car relying on Disney transportation. Thanks

    Hi, Kelly! 

    I love hearing about families participating in runDisney events together! Nothing is more special than experiencing the thrill of crossing the finish line of a magical race with the ones you love by your side. My first runDisney event was a 5K event my family of five ran together. To think back to that moment still gives me chills - you never know where your running journey will go. 

    While we are still waiting for updated transportation information to post regarding the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, I can tell you in past races there has not been transportation to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park following the Jingle Jungle 5K. Once you've completed the Jingle Jungle 5K, just board race transportation back to your host hotel and then re-board the bus headed to the Complex. Another idea would be to skip the bus to your resort and take the bus that is headed to Disney's Pop Century Resort and switch buses there - this is the closest host hotel to the Complex. Just keep an eye on the time, the Complex does not open until 9:00am and transportation to will not begin from any host hotel until 8:45am. 

    Also keep an eye on the PLAN tab on the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend homepage. This is where transportation information for all race events will be posted.
