    My family and I will be running the Dark Side 5k on April 20th. Do you know if there will be buses running after the race that we could hop on to get to Animal Kingdom as soon as the race is over or will we need to go back to Port Orleans and catch a bus.

    Welcome to the Dark Side! You know what they say, the family that runs Disney together stays together.  RunDisney races are so much fun! The Empire will be pleased with your decision to run the Star Wars Dark Side 5K.

    After you complete your race in less than 12 parsecs, the complimentary race transportation buses will only go back to Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You can either go back to your Disney hotel to pick up things you may need to visit the theme parks or you could take one of the buses to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Then you can hop on a Walt Disney World bus from there to Animal Kingdom Theme Park since it's the closest hotel.
