Hiya Grace! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
How exciting! A large family vacation to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! There is no better place to create lasting memories than with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the crew! And you had a smart idea to get a head start on the planning process. March 2023 will be here before you know it! You'll also be able to sneak in just before the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration comes to an end. There are some fantastic treats to try and wonderful experiences to take part in.
One of my favorite aspects of a Walt Disney World vacation is the flexibility that comes along with it. There may be unforeseen circumstances that cause you to delay your trip and reschedule for a future date. When booking a vacation package directly through Walt Disney World, you will have the ability to do so.
Depending on how your reservation is structured will determine if each family can reschedule their room for different dates. If the reservation was made under one individual, the entire package will need to be rebooked for the same date. You will not be able to split it up in the future. Your best bet will be to cancel the package and rebook it under separate reservations if everyone cannot travel together in the future.
If each room reservation and ticket package is currently booked separately and under each family's name, then you will be able to choose a different date when rescheduling. Each family will have a different confirmation code, which will make it easy for you to make the change. You may be able to modify the reservations directly on your
My Disney Experience account or by calling the Walt Disney World Resort and speaking to a Cast Member. There are certain
terms and conditions associated with your booking, along with important dates. I would take a look at this information and mark it on your calendar.
Grace, you are going to have an absolute blast traveling with a large group! I love sharing experiences with my loved ones and there is no better place to do so than at Walt Disney World! There are so many magical moments that are awaiting your arrival!
Happy planning!
Greg
