Hi there, Susan, and welcome to planDisney.
I can't think of a better way to start this answer than with a quote from Walt Disney himself: "Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever." Susan, your question makes me so happy! "Ohana means family, and family means nobody is left behind or forgotten." Even though we may have just become planDisney friends, I already think your family is amazing. I'm so excited about the wonderful time your 90-year-old grandmother will have with all of you.
I am adding a link
HERE that should provide all the information you need. At each theme park and Disney Springs, ECVs and wheelchairs are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis. To rent one, simply head to the designated rental location within the park. These services cannot be reserved in advance and must remain at the park where they were rented.
You will also find information for ScooterBug, a private mobility provider and Disney-featured provider, in the above link. This company will deliver your ECV or wheelchair to your Resort hotel, and you can keep it with you throughout your entire vacation.
Susan, I've used both of these services for members of my own family and found both helpful and easy to use.
I hope your family has a wonderful reunion! Be sure to make your dining reservations 60 days in advance. If you can't find a reservation for 13 people, be prepared to split your party into two smaller reservations. Consider looking into the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, as this service is very helpful when traveling with a large group. Lastly, think about getting
Memory Maker. With all the unforgettable moments, you'll want to capture these memories in photos that will last a lifetime.
Please visit us at
planDisney anytime as you plan this wonderful reunion. We are Guests just like you who want nothing more than to help you experience the magic! I have my own Memorial Day vacation planned, so if I happen to come across a party of 13 with a lovely 90-year-old grandmother, I will be sure to say hi!
Enjoy the magic,
Shonette
