My family is returning to Walt Disney World in June to celebrate my sister's sixteenth birthday. As her older sister, I am hoping to plan the best birthday! What are some ways we could make sure she has the most magical experience on her special day?

Celebrations at Walt Disney World just seem to have that little extra bit of pixie dust to make them that much more memorable and magic. To help make her day as magical as possible, first don't hesitate to share the news. You can pick up a complimentary Happy Birthday button for her at any of the parks' Guest Relations. Similarly, share her happy news with cast members and include a notation in any dining reservations you make.  You can also order a personalized birthday cake for her beforehand (at least 48 hours) by calling 407-827-2253. A generic cake can also be requested at any table service restaurant; just ask the cast member when you check in.

To help you further, many of the Moms/Dads have also shared ideas to help other guests with birthday celebration ideas and doing something special to help with your planning. In addition to all these ideas, if you sister likes bowling Splitsville is the new bowling alley in Downtown Disney; if she prefers pampering, Senses is a newly renovated spa at the Grand Floridian Resort. Finally, if she loves science-fiction and Star Wars, Star Wars Weekends may overlap your June trip with a chance for Force-Filled Fun!

Walt Disney World is filled with such a variety of ways to celebrate; I'm hopeful you'll find the perfect match for sister. If you find you have additional questions after looking through all the ideas, please let us know. We are happy to help with your planning.
