Family is returning on different days, we want to purchase a basic dinning plan. Can we purchase the plan for just those days we are all together or do we need to pay for the plan for all days until the last person of our group leaves?

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

The Disney Dining Plan a great way to enjoy some of the fantastic culinary experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. If you purchase a dining plan, you will receive meal entitlements for each Guest on your hotel reservation (ages 3 and over) for every night of your vacation. So even if a member of your reservation will be leaving early, the Disney Dining Plan will include one quick service entitlement, one table service entitlement and one snack entitlement for each Guest for every night of your reservation.

My favorite part about the meal plan is that it allows you flexibility in how you use your meals during your trip. You can choose to use your entitlements any way you choose during your trip and entitlements can be used by any Guest on your reservation. Each Guest is not limited to only using the entitlements allotted to them. Instead, your meals are in a pool for all Guests on your reservation to redeem when they choose. So for example, you could use multiple table service entitlements each day during the portion of your trip when your entire family is together. Then if members of your group are leaving early, the Guests remaining on vacation can use the remaining entitlements for meals on their final vacation days. You will be able to keep track of the entitlements remaining for your party as they will be printed on your receipts when you redeem meals.
