    What family restaurant would you recommend in the Disney area (not inside the parks)? Other than Rainforest Cafe or Ohana's? Thanks. (This would be for a group of 12; just for fun.)

    Hi, Carrie!  For a fun family meal, we enjoy Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort.  Here, you can get great burgers and shakes in a fun atmosphere.    For a fun ending to your meal, you can order "The Kitchen Sink" filled with 8 scoops of ice cream and loaded with toppings!   Nothing says family fun like a whole-lot-of ice cream!

    After you finish eating, your family can stroll the Boardwalk to walk over to Epcot.   Have a great time with your family!

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home.
