My family has reserved 4 tables at space 220, during the same time period, 4 people at each table. Is it possible that these 4 tables could be reduced to 8/8 or 6/6/4. We are hoping by reducing the number of tables more of us can sit together

    Hi there, Debra!

Welcome back to planDisney where it's always a practically perfect day to discuss Disney dining! Although you will be visiting EPCOT during the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, I'm so glad you will be making time to enjoy one of Walt Disney World Resort's most iconic restaurants, Space 220 Restaurant, during your visit! My husband is an aspiring astronaut, and it is always such a treat to experience the journey to the Centauri Space Station with him. Once aboard, the views are truly out of this world!

This is one of the most coveted dining reservations in Walt Disney World Resort, Debra, so it is incredible that you were able to secure reservations for your party of 16! While you can always inquire about the possibility of consolidating tables with a Cast Member at the time you check in for your dining reservation, the popularity of this restaurant makes it unlikely your request will be able to be accommodated. Of course, I am always of the mindset that you will never know if you don't ask, so I do encourage you to see if it is possible.

I also recommend periodically attempting to modify the party size of your reservations in the My Disney Experience app as you count down to your vacation. Availability has been known to open up as people modify their plans. I've even successfully secured same-day reservations by monitoring the app just before the 2-hour cancellation deadline! Even if you are unable to dine as a larger group, I am confident the experience of dining 220 miles above Earth will be one of the highlights of your vacation!

I hope this information was helpful, Debra, and that you have an incredible visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any additional questions as you continue to plan, feel free to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!

    Thinking Happy Thoughts,
