    Our family of 3 has reservations for the All Star Sports Resort for Aug. 19-25. We will be going to the Parks 4 of those days. We are on a very tight budget- any tips to make sure this trip is extra special even on a tight budget?

    Hello Galadriel!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

    Walt Disney World is a very special place for my family, as we get to share times and memories in a very unique way.  Walking through the parks and sharing all the wonderful experiences, is our most special Disney memory.

    I suggest visiting one theme park each day and if possible, another visit to Magic Kingdom - even if only for half a day.

    Arriving at the parks before opening time allows us to enjoy the parks with great weather and crowd levels.  We try  to spend as much time as we can at the parks.

    Disney´s Resort Transportation is a great way to move between resorts to theme parks and Downtown Disney.
    Still, on some occasions a taxi can be a really fast option - for about $10 to $24.  Taxis can be found at all resorts, Downtown Disney and all theme parks (except Magic Kingdom).
    Using a taxi can save between 2 to 4 hours a day, time that can be well spent at the parks or resting at your resort.

    A meal between 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm is a great way to take a break from the parks during peak hours.
    It is even more relaxing to have your meal at a resort close by to the theme park you are spending the day.
    All resorts close to the parks offer great dining experiences and at least one (1) really efficient mode of transportation.
    To some resorts we can walk in less than 20 minutes from parks like Magic Kingdom, Epcot or Hollywood Studios.

    Take plenty of water with you to the parks and order some groceries from online stores like Garden Grocer.
