My family have reservations for resort and Parks Dec 18-23. Our party includes 4 adults and 3 children. 2 of our adults are unable to make the trip so we will have to cancel them. What I want to know is do we still need 2 rooms or can we just do 1?

    Hi Kim,

Glad to know that you will be celebrating the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. It is my favorite time of the year to visit, and I am already planning to celebrate Christmas in 2018.

I am also sorry to hear that two members of your party won't be able to celebrate with you. To answer your question, you may be able to cancel one of the rooms from your reservation, but it depends on the maximum capacity of the rooms you have currently reserved. It also depends if any of the children will be under the age of three at the time of Check-In, since they will not count towards the maximum capacity of a room. If you do need to change Resorts or room types, you may do so but it will be subject to availability. It is best for you to talk to a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936, or your travel agent to discuss options.

One last tip: Magic Your Way Vacation Packages can be canceled up to 30 days prior to Check-In without penalties. Room only reservations can be changed up to the last minute, however any Theme Park Tickets already purchased are non-refundable. Oh, and don't forget to adjust any dining reservations. See you real soon!
