    My family has reservations off property for the week between Christmas and New Years but have not yet purchased our theme park tickets. Do I need to purchase theme park tickets in order to make Dining reservations?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Mary ~

    I absolutely love to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays! There are so many amazing things planned to celebrate the holidays this year! The decorations are spectacular especially Cinderella Castle draped in hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights. I could stare at it for hours.

    You do not need to purchase tickets ahead of time in order to make advanced dining reservations. However, keep in mind that if you make reservations to dine inside any of the four theme parks, theme park admission is required and not included in the cost of your meal. Even if you are only going to a theme park solely to dine, you will need a valid theme park ticket in order to enter.

    Advanced dining reservations can be made up to 180-days prior to your trip. You are well within that timeframe now. I would highly recommend that you book immediately. Advanced dining reservations can be made online through the link shown above, on the My Disney Experience mobile app, or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
