Melissa put your doubts to rest. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a unique, convenient place to stay.
Our family of six found these cabins to have ample room. We loved the well supplied kitchen with a full size refrigerator, the deck, and bunk beds. Our mini van could be parked mere feet from the door. The pool was a little blase compared to some other resorts but to our kids any water slide is hours of entertainment. This resort is closer to the Magic Kingdom than other moderate resorts so your travel time, by boat or bus, to this theme park is quite reasonable.
The recreation choices at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are awesome. Chip'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-ling where you may roast marshmallows for s'mores, watch a movie, and meet Chip'n Dale is traditional favorite. Mickey's Backyard BBQ and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner shows are both on the grounds as well as the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. The ranch offers pony rides, horseback riding, and haunted carriage rides. Bike, boats, and golf carts are all available for rent.
Hope you will decide to give the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort a try. Enjoy!
