Hi Stephanie, I'm sure you are beyond excited for your upcoming trip. It is right around the corner. You are going to enjoy the southwestern relaxed feel of Coronado Springs. My family stayed there on a recent visit and we had a great time there. Here are my suggestions for room locations. If you would prefer to be near the pool (although it could be chilly depending on the weather that week in January, guests have been known to swim year round at Walt Disney World), Cabanas building 8A is a great location. The Dig Site is an area that includes the feature pool, arcade and playground. So, this building would put you closest to that. Now, if you would rather be near El Centro (main building with front desk, gift shop, and dining), then either Cabanas 9B or Casitas 1 are your closest buildings. Lastly, if you prefer a location tucked back and away from the hustle and bustle of the two aforementioned areas, my suggestion would be Ranchos 7A. Keep in mind that while the location might be a bit removed and possibly quieter, you will be a greater walking distance from food and beverage areas and the Dig Site. Don't forget that room requests are not guaranteed and are based on availability upon check-in. In regards to choosing a park to visit, I would totally choose Magic Kingdom. To me, this is the epicenter of the magic, especially for little ones. From Peter Pan's Flight to the Jungle Cruise to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, there is something for everyone. Have a magical trip. It will be here before you can say "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!" ~Allison L
