Hi. My family of 5 has reservations at California Grill the first night for the fireworks view. The menu looks a little fancier than we are used to. Are you able to get anything plain, like steak, a hamburger, chicken? Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Lucky you! The view of the fireworks from California Grill is breathtaking!

I understand about the menu. My family ate there last year, and I have one son that will try anything and one son that is very picky and likes simple, plain foods. They were very accommodating.

I was there again in November and ate with some girlfriends on the evening of the Wine and Dine Half Marathon. Our dinner at California Grill was at 5:00 p.m., and we were going to run 13.1 miles at 10:00 p.m., so we knew we had to be careful of what we ate. Again, they worked with us and brought us exactly what we asked for. (for me it was plain ziti noodles and grilled chicken)
