My family of 8 has a 7:45 reservation at Sci-Fi-Dine-In. Should we have time to make it to the Fantasmic show if we get a FP+?

I see that your are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in May but I'm not sure which day you are planning to see Fantasmic.  I assume you are planning to make it over there for the 9PM show even though some dates in May feature 2 showings; 1 at 9PM and 1 at 10:30PM.  I think you will be cutting it too close to make it to the 9:00 show, even with a FastPass+.  If you arrive at Sci-Fi Dine-In at 7:45 you may not be seated immediately.  Let's say you are seated by 8:00, you'll want an hour to eat.  You'll then need about 15 minutes to walk to Hollywood Boulevard and up to the amphitheater that houses Fantasmic.  It is recommended that you arrive 30-45 minutes prior to showtime even with a FP+ to ensure the best seating.  This plan would work perfectly if you were planning to watch the 10:30 showing of Fantasmic!

I hope this helps, and please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
