My family has an 8am reservation at Crystal Palace on a day that MK opens at 9am. Will we be likely to have time after breakfast, but before park opening, to take some photos? We are hoping to take some photos to announce a pregnancy.

    Hi Jillian,

Thanks so much for your question! It sounds like you have a really fun morning planned.

In my experience, you should have enough time for photos after your breakfast at The Crystal Palace before the crowds roll in.

What I recommend is arriving at Magic Kingdom Park about 20 minutes before your reservation time so you can get checked in and seated as soon as possible. You may also want to request your check as you sit down to save time when you are ready to leave. That way you can enjoy your meal and fun Character Greetings at your own pace.

An early morning in the parks is my favorite time of day to take photos. And with such a fun reason, you can't go wrong!

    Enjoy your magical vacation, Jillian!
