Hello! My family and I recently went on a Disney Cruise and bought some mystery pins! We have many of the same pins and were wondering if we would be allowed to trade our Disney Cruise pins at our upcoming trip to Walt Disney World?

Hello Susan!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of the joys of Disney Pin Trading at Walt Disney World Resort for me is finding a Cast Member with a trading pin from a different Disney Park or the Disney Cruise Line.

As a pin trader, there is nothing I love more than finding a never-before-seen pin at the Walt Disney World Resort and when you trade often enough, the only Disney Trading Pins you haven't seen are from different Parks or the Disney Cruise Line.

As far as trading is concerned, Cast Members are focused on creating a wonderful trading experience for Guests and do not concern themselves with the point-of-origin of a specific trading pin. As long as it is an official Disney Trading Pin, trade away! While they may be duplicates for you, a Disney Pin Trader at Walt Disney World Resort will trade for it in no time(hopefully, me).

The basic rules of etiquette are to trade Official Disney Trading Pins(look for the logo on the back) and to avoid trading "Scrappers"(cheap knock-off pins sold online) or non-Disney Pins.

The best places to trade or buy new pins are at Disney's Pin Traders at Disney Springs, Pin Central - Future World in Epcot and Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom.

    Happy Pin Trading!
