Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kat!
Oooooh, I LOVE selecting which Walt Disney World Resort hotel we’re going to call home. It’s so much fun to look at photos, imagine ourselves in the pool, think about dining, and just imagine all the fun we’re going to have. I hope you’re so excited about the resort hotel you’ve selected, and I know you are
counting down the days until you check in and let the magic begin!
I’m kind of a pro when it comes to rescheduling Walt Disney World Resort vacations or switching up our resort hotel as our plans change or new
special offers become available. In my experience, it does sometimes take a few days for the cancelled reservation to fall off your
My Disney Experience account, but there are also some steps you can take to speed the process along.
First, if you’re using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, try to log completely out of the app and then back in again. If that doesn’t work, check to see if there is an update available for the app; if there is, sometimes installing that will do the trick. Finally, sometimes you need to uninstall and reinstall the app. If you try all of these things and you’re still seeing that cancelled reservation, you’ll want to
call the My Disney Experience technical support Cast Members at (407) 939-4357. They always make magic happen for me!
Kat, I hope that helps and your My Disney Experience account looks practically perfect in every way very soon. As you finalize your plans and do your Disney dreaming, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog so you can be in the know about the latest experiences, tasty treats, and fun finds around the Walt Disney World Resort. If we can help in any way, please come back and see us!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
