My family and I recently stayed at AoA resort. When we walking into the lobby, we were greeted by wonderful staff and a wonderful aroma. I asked a cast member what the scent was, but they didn't know exactly. Would you be able to find out?

    Hi Jessica!

I just love this question, as I'm always trying to identify the different smells of Walt Disney World Resorts. Did you know that each Resort has a smell specially designed for it? Those smells can also change depending on the season. Christmas is one of the best times to visit a Walt Disney World Resort since you are sure to get a sniff of pine, gingerbread, vanilla and even chocolate!

The smell at Disney's Art of Animation has always been a tricky one, and there is no official declaration of what it is. My husband and I constantly talk about what we think it entails. I think it's more of an orange and popcorn smell, but he thinks it's a bit of a fabric softener smell, with snickerdoodle cookies mixed in. Ha! Hopefully, one day Disney Parks will share their recipe for Resort smells, including Art of Animation, but they haven't just yet.

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel, Jessica. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us anytime.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
