My family recently booked a trip to Disneyworld next month. We are staying at Pop Century but I was wondering if it possible to change to a different hotel or maybe reduce the amount of days at Pop Century and add another hotel during our stay.

    Hi Lisa,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for joining us with your question.

Can I confess to you that I absolutely love Disney's Pop Century Resort? It's my favorite value resort-I love the renovated rooms and the Tie-Dye Cheesecake!

You can absolutely change hotels prior to arrival (subject to availability, of course). You may also do what is called a split stay where you start in one resort hotel at the beginning of your Walt Disney World Vacation, then move to another hotel (or two) to complete your stay.  The only downside to this is that your FastPass+ and Advanced Dining Reservation windows are separate and tied to each separate stay, not bundled together for the duration of your stay.

You'll need to call the wonderful Cast Members at Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to make the change on the phone.  They can also help ensure that existing FastPass+ selections are not dropped during the resort switch.  Please mention this when you make the change and take screenshots of your existing FastPasses in My Disney Experience prior to making the call.

    Happy planning!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
