Hi! My family recently acquired a vacation home in Florida and want to take advantage of Florida resident ticket pricing. It appears that the longest resident ticket is a 4 day, but we wish to visit more than 4 days. Can we add days to that ticket? TY

Hey there, Kenyon, and welcome back to the planDisney panel! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by with your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! Congratulations on your new vacation home and on becoming a Florida resident! The Florida resident Park Tickets are an incredible benefit to your residency, in that they offer a wonderful opportunity to experience the Disney Theme Parks at a discounted admission rate. These Tickets are currently offered for 1-, 3- or 4-day options only. I spoke with a Cast Member in Guest Relations regarding your request, and they confirmed that there is no way to extend these past 4 days. If you’d like to visit more than 4 days, which I highly suggest, they recommend that you purchase additional Florida resident tickets in the increments you need.

I also would like to mention one of my favorite ways to supplement my Theme Park tickets. Because you have 7 calendar days in which to utilize a 4-day Ticket, that means you have a little wiggle room. These extra days are perfect for adding in a visit to a Disney Water Park. This is one of my family’s favorite ways to start a vacation week! Also, there is always the option of visiting Disney Springs for some amazing food and shopping. Whenever you plan to visit, make sure you check the Disney Park Pass availability calendar ahead of time to confirm that your Park of choice is available. Also, please review the Experience Updates pages to see the latest information about the policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all Walt Disney World Guests and Cast Members.

Kenyon, I hope that this information helps you plan your next Disney getaway! I also hope that many Walt Disney World adventures are in store for you as a new Florida resident! Please know that we are always here for you during any step of your planning, so please do not hesitate to come back and see us again anytime.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Clara
