Hi there, JoAnn!
Ahoy! Can you believe your Disney Cruise Line vacation is NEXT MONTH!?!?! And boy, oh boy have you picked an incredible itinerary! My DREAM Disney Cruise Line voyage includes a “double dip” at
Castaway Cay because one day there is never enough time! That itinerary is on my bucket list and I hope to mark it off sooner than later!
Disney Cruise Line begins sending out cruise documentation booklets and luggage tags to Guests about six weeks before a voyage, but often Guests will not receive them until closer to their sailing. I am not sure exactly what the “system” for sending them out is, but we have experienced the same situation that you have – where friends of ours who were traveling with us received their “Mickey Mail” before us and vice versa. If about two weeks before your voyage comes and you have yet to receive your information, I would suggest contacting Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to inform them that you have yet to receive your travel booklet and luggage tags. They can confirm the address for you and if necessary, send another one out to you at that time! If for whatever reason you
still do not receive it, don’t worry – the porters at Port Canaveral will have extra luggage tags for you upon arrival. As long as you have your stateroom number and reservation number handy, they will ensure that your luggage makes it to your stateroom and you will have no problem getting checked in at the port!
If you haven’t yet, be sure to get all your onboard activities and Port Adventures booked at least three days prior to your voyage! I always recommend booking dinner reservations at either
Palo or Remy for an incredible dining experience!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea, JoAnn! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me and have an extra chocolate chip cookie from Cookies BBQ for me!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
