Will my family and I receive rooms with connecting doors?

    Hello Peggy!

When my kids were young, we required two rooms when traveling, so I know that heading to Walt Disney World Resort with a big crew is a recipe for fun and unforgettable memories. You’ll have a blast exploring the parks together, and the magic only multiplies when you share it with your favorite people!

In my experience, most Disney Resort hotels offer connecting rooms (with an interior door between them) or adjoining rooms (close to one another but not directly connected). While these options can be requested, they aren’t always guaranteed. However, Disney Cast Members always do their best to honor requests like these, even though they can’t promise them in advance. To give your party the best chance, I recommend adding the request to your reservation right away. The easiest way is to call and have a friendly Cast Member note it for you. If you want to ensure your family is connected, take a look at the Family Suite options at Art of Animation and Disney's All-Star Music Resort. These rooms accommodate up to 6 guests and include 2 bathrooms!

I hope this helps you feel more confident as you plan your adventure. Wishing you and your whole gang a stay filled with laughter, Disney snacks, and magical moments from sunup to sundown.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
