My family will be purchasing annual passes soon . On the first day we go to the parks to activate our passes do we need to pay for parking ?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!

I'm thrilled to learn you are soon to be part of the magical Annual Passholder family! There are so many benefits that come with being an annual passholder. From exclusive discounts to dedicated entrances at all four theme parks. But by far, the most magical benefit is getting to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort more often!

Laura, if you visit the theme parks before activating your pass, you will have to pay for the parking, but Hakuna Matata; no worries! Just hold on to your receipt and hand it to a Cast Member at Guest Relations upon activation for a refund. You can also activate your Annual Pass at the Disney Springs Guest Relations location prior to heading to the theme parks to avoid having to pay for parking. Parking at Disney Springs is complimentary.

Pro-tip! Bookmark the Annual Passholder benefits and discounts page to your mobile device so you can check it often during your visits and take advantage of all the magical offers.

I hope you have a most pixie-dusted yEAR making memories with your family at the most magical place on earth.

    See ya real soon,
