    My family and I have purchased a travel package that includes staying at Coranado Springs, but have recently found out that our friends have booked at Port Orleans. Can we change to the other resort, and if so, at what cost?

    Hi, Joseph!

    If you booked your upcoming vacation directly through Walt Disney World, you'll have no trouble at all making the switch. Guests may cancel their reservations and be completely refunded any deposits as long as they do so at least 6 days prior to check-in.

    Simply call Reservations at (407) 939-7905 and tell the Cast Member assisting you what changes you need to make. The CM should check to be sure that the reservation you are looking for is available. If so, cancel your original reservation and book the new one at Port Orleans. Again, no penalties whatsoever as long as you booked your trip directly through WDW and are making your changes at least 6 days in advance of your check-in.
