Our family is in the process of making plans to visit November 2020. Celebrating a 50th Golden Anniversary. After watching The Disney Blog we learned there are rest places. Are there ways to find out where they're located at each park or resort.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathryn! I can’t think of a more magical place to celebrate a 50th Golden Anniversary. I just know that you and your family are going to have a wonderful time!

There’s a great rest area my family and I just took advantage of during our visit this May. You can find this rest area right outside of the exit of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom Park. You will find some rocking chairs and new tables complete with umbrellas to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy a Mickey ice cream bar and some popcorn, like we did!

Tom Sawyer Island is also a great place to explore at the Magic Kingdom Park. If you’re not up for adventure, it’s ok! There are a few areas toward the middle of the island where you can sit at a picnic table and enjoy the view!

For some more tips, my friend and fellow panelist Missy gave a guest some great suggestions for quiet places at all of the theme parks.

When it comes to celebrating your anniversary, there are so many restaurants to choose from. Remember that you can start making your dining reservations 180 days before your next visit.

Disney Floral & Gifts offers all kinds of goodies for any special occasion you are celebrating. The best part is, they will deliver their magical gifts right to your Disney Resort hotel room!

Kathryn, I hope you have a wonderful visit. If you have any other questions, you can always come back to see us. Helping you with details of your vacation is our pleasure!
