Hi there, Jocelyn!
Congratulations on scoring one of the most sought after dining reservations in all of Walt Disney World Resort. There's something particularly magical about dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table. It's an experience you won't want to miss.
It appears that
Happily Ever After begins at 8 p.m. most days in late January. If that is the case the night you are scheduled to dine in Cinderella Castle at 7:15 p.m., you won't be able to see much of the fireworks display that evening, and you certainly don't want to rush your dinner. Savor every moment while you are there.
Would it be possible for you to see Happily Ever After another evening? Perhaps you have a day set aside to shop at Disney Springs. That would be a fabulous night to watch the fireworks over Magic Kingdom Park. If you don't have a theme park ticket for that day, hop on over to the beach at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. They pipe in the music that accompanies the fireworks and you'll have an excellent vantage point to enjoy that evening's fireworks from there. You may even want to grab a Dole Whip from the Pineapple Lanai to enjoy before the show.
The other option, of course, is to call Disney Dining at (407) 939-3463, or (407) WDW-DINE, to see if it would be possible to move your reservation a bit earlier. I think a 6 p.m. reservation would give you plenty of time to enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace before heading back out into the park to watch Happily Ever After.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Jill
