My family of 6 has 8pm dinner reservations at Coral Reef at Epcot in Dec. Iluminations is at 9:30 pm. Will we have enough time to eat then catch Illuminations? What's the typical wait time to be seated? Should we go early for our reservations?

    Hi Kathleen!

You should be able to eat and then catch the Illuminations show that night.   Disney recommends you getting to your reservation at least 10 minutes early.  They will seat you just as soon as a table is available.  We have been seated early before, but not always.  I don't remember ever waiting longer than 10 minutes past my reservation time for any meal.

My advice would be to study a menu before you are seated.  If you Google "Disney Coral Reef menu", you will be given links to several sites that have menus from the restaurant.  (these are obviously subject to change, but will give you a good idea of available meals)  Or, you could get there early enough to request a menu while waiting, and know what you want to order as soon as you are seated.  This will help expedite your food service and give you plenty of time for dessert AND Illuminations!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
