My family plans to visit in October 2011, We plan on purchasing the magic your way plus dining, however my son is autistic and will not eat anything offered on the menus. Do we still need to purchase the package for him since he will be staying in the room

    Hello Marc,

The short answer is yes. When purchasing a Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining, you are buying the package for each person staying in your resort room. So yes, you must buy the dining plan for your son.

When you make your Advanced Dining Reservations at table service restaurants, you are able to make special requests. So please let them know about your son's likes and dislikes. While they cannot accommodate every request, Cast Members try to help as much as possible. You never know what type of Pixie Dust they may have hiding!

A friend of mine who has a son with autism recently traveled with her family to Disney, so I know the frustration you may sometimes feel. But she was so happy with her trip experience. I hope you and you family find the same magic!

    Hope this helps!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
