My family plans to visit Epcot on a Monday in October, and I see that this is an extended evening hours night. We are not eligible for the extended hours. Does this mean we will have to leave the park before the fireworks?

Hi there, Wendy. Welcome to planDisney!

Oh my goodness, I'm so happy to hear that you have an EPCOT day planned for you and your family! EPCOT truly has it all! Besides great food and so many character meet & greets, where else can you save the galaxy, soar around the world, explore the ocean, and travel through time—all before lunch? You and your family are going to have the most magical time at EPCOT!

I'm happy to help answer your question so you can keep planning for your BEST DAY EVER! Guests eligible for Extended Evening Hours can stay in EPCOT after the park closes. The great news is that your fantastic day at the park will not be interrupted. You are welcome to stay and enjoy everything EPCOT has to offer until closing time, including the beautiful and stunning fireworks show Luminous: The Symphony of Us! YAY!

Wendy, I have even more exciting news to share with you! Get ready for some pixie-dusted fun because you'll be in town during the popular International Food & Wine Festival! You can sample delicious dishes from all around the world at the Global Marketplaces, and trust me, the Eat to the Beat Concert Series will have you dancing and singing along! Plus, there are fun family-friendly scavenger hunts like Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak and Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit to enjoy! Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest updates about this absolutely delicious festival!

I see that you've visited us here at planDisney before. It makes me very happy that you've trusted us again to help you plan your magical day. We are Guests, just like you, and we love helping fellow Disney fans plan their magical moments. You are always welcome. You'll be in town for the not-so-spooky season, and if we can help with anything else, please let us know. Follow us on Instagram for even more helpful tips. Have so much fun on your vacation, Wendy!

    Happy planning,
