Hi there, Kim! Welcome back to planDisney! It's always a pleasure to meet another Disney fan that hails from right here in the Sunshine State!
I'm so sorry to hear that you've been battling this nasty virus, Kim. I can understand why you and your family would want to take a breather on your plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort right now. Disney doesn't typically offer refunds for ticket purchases, but you should be able to
apply the value of your wholly unused tickets toward a future visit. If you already have an idea as to when you might reschedule, you can hop into your My Disney Experience account using the guidance
my friend and fellow planDisney panelist Priscila outlined for you and try to modify your tickets for a future date. When you're in your account, look for "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and scroll to the tickets you'd like to change. If you see an option to "Modify Tickets," you should be able to make the change online. Just note that if your new date has a higher ticket price, you'll be prompted to pay the difference.
Once your tickets have expired, you'll most likely need to
give Disney Guest Relations a call at the number listed under "Existing Tickets" to have a Cast Member make that change for you.
Kim, whenever you decide to take that magical vacation with your son and grandchildren, you're sure to have a pixie-dusted adventure! In fact,
The World's Most Magical Celebration in honor of the Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary will be going strong for the next 18 months, so you have plenty of time to see the theme parks in all their sparkling glory!
I hope you're feeling better soon, Kim. All of us at planDisney wish you good health and lots of Disney magic in the year ahead!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
