Our family plans to stay in one of the family suites at the Animation resort. I will be arriving one day ahead of the other four in my room. Will we all be charged for the entire time or will their meals, etc . begin on the day they actually arrive?

    Hi Susan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You've come to the right place to get the answers you need!

If you booked a Magic Your Way vacation package for Disney's Art of Animation Resort, then your dining plan for all of the members in your party will begin on the first day of the reservation. Each member in your party will be given meal credits for the length of the reservation regardless of when they arrive or leave. If you will be the only one arriving on the first day, then you may not need that many meal credits. What I would suggest is that you make a separate reservation for the one night that you will be alone with only your name on the reservation. You might even want to book one of The Little Mermaid standard rooms at Art of Animation because they are less expensive than the family suites. Then you could move over to the family suite the next morning. If you decide that you want to make this change, just call 407-WDISNEY (407-934-7639) and a reservation specialist can modify the dates of your existing reservation and add a new reservation for the one night.

I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions. We're here to help!

    Happy planning!
