Hello, We are a family of 5 and have plans to go to Magic Kingdom on April 20th which is my daughters 4th birthday. We haven't been able to get reservations for Be Our Guest, so I was wondering what would be a good second choice?

    Hi Diane,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I love celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort.  It truly is the perfect place for a wonderful and unforgettable celebration.

Just this morning, I saw a few openings at Be Our Guest Restaurant for dinner, so don’t give up hope!  If Be Our Guest Restaurant is what your daughter wants for her birthday, keep checking.  Plans change all the time and openings do come up.  Otherwise, Magic Kingdom park has some other wonderful dining options that I am sure you and your little Princess will love.

One of my favorite places at Magic Kingdom park for a fun and memorable dinner is The Crystal Palace.  I have celebrated many birthdays there with Winnie the Pooh and his friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood.  The all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet is delicious and who doesn't love getting hugs from a few special friends!?

If you don’t mind leaving Magic Kingdom park for a few hours, then I would also have to recommend 1900 Park Fare for your little one.  I recently dined there with my son and he had a wonderful time.  Dinner time is an enchanting time with Cinderella, Prince Charming and a few of their friends.

Diane, no matter what you choose, I know your daughter’s birthday will be a special one.   As a reminder, advance dining reservations are highly recommended and can be done online or by calling 1-407-939-3463.

Happy planning and a very happy birthday to your Princess!
