My family is planning to come to WDW on Dec 27 to Jan 1. (But in 2 different disney resorts) Our flight arrives at Dec 27 night. If we buy 5 day park tickets with Disney Dining Plan, can we start the dining plan on the 28th instead of the 27th?

    Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for your question!  I love to talk with guests about dining at Walt Disney World!

Yes, you may start using your Disney Dining Plan credits the day after your arrival.  You can use them all in one day if you want or you can spread them out over the length of your stay.  The only requirement is that you use them all up by midnight on the day you check out of your Disney resort.

This can be tricky if you are staying at two separate resorts.  For instance, if you are staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for two days with the Disney Dining Plan and then switching to Disney's Wilderness Lodge for an additional three days, you must use the dining plan credits associated with your first two days by midnight on the day you check out of Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  Any unused credits after that point will be lost.

Let me know if you need any further assistance or suggestions with regard to using Disney Dining Plan credits.  I'd be happy to share what I know.

    Best wishes!
