My family is planning a weeklong trip at the end of October at the Wilderness Lodge. If we downgrade to a moderate we can get annual passes and go for a four night/ five day trip in January. Would going to a moderate be worth the extra trip?

    Hi Rebecca,

The answer to your question is really down to personal preference but if it was me, I would absolutely downgrade to a Moderate Resort hotel if it meant that we would be able to have an additional 4-night/5-day trip in January.

We don't really spend all that much time in our Resort hotel room and so it wouldn't bother me at all to be staying at a Moderate Resort hotel rather than a Deluxe Resort hotel.

You will still receive all of the great Resort benefits regardless of which Disney Resort hotel you stay at and all pools at the Moderate Resort hotels have a slide. The main differences will be that the rooms will be smaller and there will probably be less dining options available.

I hope that this has helped you to reach a decision and wish you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
