Hello there. My family and I are planning a WDW vacation in 2011. I was looking at mid-April to early May. I'm trying to avoid Spring Break and was wondering if this was a good time to go.

Missy planning a spring vacation at Disney in 2011 to avoid crowds will be a tad more difficult then this year.  Easter Sunday is late next year and is on April 24 making spring breaks later then usual for many areas of the country.  Usually the week before and the week after Easter Sunday are packed times in the parks and ones you will want to avoid.

I suggest you come either early March or early May for the best chance of less crowds and decent weather.  The longer you wait the warmer it will be so if swimming is important then choose May.  I prefer the cooler temperatures so we like to go late February and early March.  I tend to have more energy to do more when it is cooler!

Let us know if we can help with more of your planning!
