My family and I are planning on going to WDW in January 2012, and we are trying to decide between the Polyenesian and Wilderness Lodge. Convenience is our #1 priority. WL is more affordable, but I want to make sure it is convenient to parks. Thanks!

    Hi Alison!
Although both resorts are equally awesome (in fact, I like WL better), if "convenience" is your deciding factor, then you should go with the Polynesian. It is more convenient to both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT (via the monorail), and has a prime view of Wishes Fireworks Spectacular from the beach if you are not in the Magic Kingdom certain nights. The food choices are a bit better at WL, although they do not have character dining, but the pool complex is better at the "Poly". All in all, although I LOVE the Wilderness Lodge,  you will probably do better at the Polynesian based on your needs.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
