My family is planning on visiting WDW and are looking into the a small dinner package that has one sit down meal a day. Do you have to make reservations for these type of meals in advance each day or is it a walk in basis?

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am excited to hear that you and your family are planning to visit Walt Disney World!  I am sure your family is excited and counting down the days for their departure to this most MAGICAL place.

I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  This is a great way to budget your food expenses while on vacation.  If you are looking into at least one sit-down meal a day, I would highly recommend the Disney Dining Plan as your plan of choice.  This plan entitles you to one table-service meal, one quick-service meal and one snack per night of your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort.

I highly recommend setting your dining reservations in advance.  You do not want to risk walking into a restaurant only to be told that no tables are available.  I have seen one too many families turned away in the past. You can set your dining reservations online or you can have a Cast Member help you with this process by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please come back and join us again should any new questions or concerns spring up.  We are more than happy to help.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~
