Hi there Aaron!
I know what you mean about the closeness of the parks! I was for fortunate enough to hang out at Downtown Disney a few years back and I walked over to the entrance to California Adventure and Disneyland. I'm sure you already know, Walt Disney World is much larger! That doesn't mean that Park hopping is difficult just a little bit more time consuming. Here is my personal strategy. If you are going to be at WDW for an extended amount of time, then I would just get the regular ticket without the Park Hopper. Scope out the four parks on the first four days then go back to your favorites. If you will be there a short amount of time, and want to see it all, then a Park Hopper is beneficial. A good idea is to check the WDW Calendar and see when each park is open later. This makes it easier to see more of each park in one day. I hope this helps with your planning. Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel. Have a great time at the Walt Disney World Resort!!
