My family of 7 are planning on visiting Oct 2015. We want to attend MNSSHP and were hoping for free dining. When does Disney typically release MNSSHP dates and ticket sales? Also, when is free dining in the fall normally?

    Hi there Lindsey,

I am so excited to hear you are planning a magical fall getaway to The Walt Disney World Resort!  You have chosen one of my favorite times to visit!  The autumn and Halloween decorations just really add to the fun and the best part is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!  Dates for the party are usually announced in early May, after which time, tickets will be available for purchase.

As far as the Free Dining Promotion is concerned, there is really no rhyme or reason as to when such special may be offered.  Historically, it has been offered in October, so I'd say chances are good, if I had to guess.  This promotion is usually announced the season before, so I'd start looking for news sometime late summer.

My suggestion would be to subscribe for email alerts with the Disney Parks Blog.  This way, breaking news and announcements, including information on Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Free Dining will be delivered to your inbox daily, so you won't miss a thing!  Go ahead and lock in your dates now, and know that you can always make changes later if Free Dining is announced for your dates and desired resort.

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
