My family & I are planning to visit the DVC at the GF this Fall, do we need to make an appointment or can we just turn up? We are going to go to 1900 Park Fayre beforehand & would like to tie it in altogether. Thanks

    Hi Kimberly,

Taking the Open House Tour of Disney Vacation Club is a wonderful way to explore if membership in Disney Vacation Club is right for you and your family.  While there is a small Disney Vacation Club center at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, I would recommend instead that you visit Disney Vacation Club Walt Disney World Resort Preview Center, which is located at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.  You will be provided with personalized transportation to and from this location, so you can conveniently make your appointment for when the time is right during your vacation.

At the Disney Vacation Club Walt Disney World Resort Preview Center at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you will be able to tour sample villas from Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Aulani - A Disney Resort & Spa.  At this location, there is also a supervised Kids Clubhouse for your children to play in while you speak with a Disney Vacation Club Guide.  The location at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is much smaller and is mostly reserved for guests at that location.

I would suggest that you call for an appointment at the Disney Vacation Club Walt Disney World Resort Preview Center about a week ahead of your vacation.  You can do so by calling 1-877-382-7826.  If you forget to do this before you leave, do not worry, you can sign up for an appointment at the many Disney Vacation Club kiosks around Walt Disney World.  Then, on the day that you dine at 1900 Park Fare, take a stroll over to see The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kimberly.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
