My family is planning to visit Disneyland California adventure on Halloween day. Is there trick or treating done in this park or is it just Disneyland?

    Greetings Jennifer!
I'm so excited to know you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort for Halloween.
If you'll be at Disney California Adventure, you're in for a real treat!
Oogie Boogie, the infamous villain from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas has cast a spell over the Park and there are plenty of Spooktacular surprises which you'll love.
One of those is Cars Land, whose Radiator Springs turns into Radiator Screams every night!
You'll find plenty of Halloween Photo opportunities. The Cozy Cone Motel, for example, has been taken over by giant cone-shaped Jack-O-Lanterns!
Not to mention, Plaza de la Familia has a beautiful Dia de Los Muertos Altar in anticipation of the new Disney Pixar Movie, Coco!
And if you're looking for an adrenaline rush, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! is now Guardians of the Galaxy– Monsters After Dark!
All this to say, you'll have plenty to see, enjoy, taste and take back home.
Jennifer, trick-or-treating is limited to Mickey's Halloween Party at the Disneyland Park.
In other words, Disney California Adventure will not have the candy stations but there will be plenty of Halloween-Themed treats for purchase, including my favorite, the Maleficent Candy Apple!
    I hope this helps.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
