The family and I are planning to visit Disney World in the 1st half of June, but the wife and I really want to go to a Disney After Hours Event. Where can I find the dates for those nights?

    Hi Cynthia!

I'm so excited to hear that you are planning a family trip to Walt Disney World Resort! There is so much magic for you to enjoy together as you explore the theme parks, Disney Resorts Collection hotels and Disney Springs. One of the things I love about the "Most Magical Place on Earth" is that there's something for Guests of all ages to enjoy!

Disney After Hours is an awesome special event, where Guests can enjoy exclusive time in the theme parks and complimentary snacks and select beverages. Unfortunately, there aren't currently any Disney After Hours events scheduled. As Walt Disney World Resort is still in a phased reopening, events and experiences are returning all the time for Guests to enjoy, so I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements as your trip approaches. Hopefully, we will hear about the return of Disney After Hours in time for your vacation!

In the meantime, you can still plan a special night out with your wife during your vacation! You may want to consider a date night together at Disney Springs. Drawn to Life presented by Cirque du Soleil is a brand new show exclusive to Disney Springs. This show blends the incredible performances of Cirque du Soleil with classic Disney animation. You can combine this special show with the amazing dining experiences at Disney Springs for a perfect night together. My husband and I love the food and desserts at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'! Our favorites are the Bee Haven Bay Fried Green Tomatoes, the Church Lady Deviled Eggs and the Hummingbird Cake for dessert. Plus, you can't go wrong with any of the entrees that include his famous Fried Chicken!

Cynthia, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional itinerary planning questions or need help with anything else as your vacation approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
