My family is planning to visit Disney World at the end of May, I was wondering if they were still doing star wars weekends or if it's pretty much star wars all the time. Thanks!

Hi Alice! If you are a Star Wars fan you will be very excited with all the changes coming to Hollywood Studios in the next few years.

The Star Wars weekends will not be a part of the park this year.  But the Star Wars Experience is coming and they have already opened the Star Wars Launch Bay in the park. Here you can experience the story of Star Wars movies by watching a short movie, enjoy meet and greets with some of your favorite Star Wars characters, and enjoy interactive games plus much more. If you are lucky you just might run into a couple of Stormtroopers marching around the park too. All of this brings excitement for what is yet to come to Hollywood Studios. Stay tuned for new things to open and in the meantime enjoy some of the "old" attractions such as Star Tours.
