Hi Daisy!
Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR at planDisney!
Oh wow, this does sound like a very fun visit to Mickey's House with all of your Mouseketeers in tow! If you'd like to make your party an even 12, I am available ... I could serve as a personal tour guide, backpack holder, parade seat saver, you name it!
Standard
Disneyland Resort Hotel rooms generally cap out at four or five Guests per room. One additional child under the age of three yEARs can be added to that count with a requested crib. Another interesting tip to note about sEARching for rooms with the
Disneyland Resort Hotel booking portal is that it will
only suggest rooms or suites that can sleep however many guests you enter, and not suggest multiple, non-connecting rooms like global hotel brands will. Your best bet for booking a room at a Disneyland Resort Hotel would be to split your group up and sEARch for two or three separate bookings of four or five family members per room.
Or, if you'd truly like to stay in one room or family suite, if I were you, I'd look into your options at a
Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel. Good Neighbor Hotels have been vetted by Mickey to be clean and comfortable and uphold all of the values he wants in his own hotels. Many Good Neighbor Hotels are within walking distance of Disneyland Resort, some are even closer step-wise than the parking structure where local Annual Pass holders park. Some Good Neighbor Hotels even have extra perks and amenities that you won't find at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, like kitchenettes, multiple bathrooms, and complimentary breakfast! Some of my favorite Good Neighbor Hotels that might fit the needs of your family would be the Cambria Hotel and Suites, the Element by Westin (near the Convention Center), and the Courtyard by Marriott Theme Park Entrance.
I hope that this helped to find beds for your heads, Daisy! Be sure to follow the
